What is this?

A set of Billet Aluminium Offset Bushes that drop the steering rack down to help correct the steering geometry which is skewed from factory. Nylon crush washers go in between the rack and chassis to keep the rack locked in place and aid in installing this kit. A checking tool is also provided to make sure the bushes are installed perfectly.

Initial testing showed zero change in steering wheel feedback. There is a slip join in the steering shaft and rubber dampener at the base of the steering column that is unaffected by this kit and works to absorb the bumps and knocks when driving.

This kit still allows for factory bash plates to be run and shouldn't cause any issues with aftermarket bash plates. If your bash plates are bent up they will need to be straightened out to clear the steering rack.

Made from Billet 6061 Aluminium with a sandblasted and anodised finish.

What are the benefits?

This kit helps reduce the horrendous bump steer in the latest ISUZU platform, which is causing excessive tire wear on the inner edge of the front wheels. This kit is a fraction of the price of other solutions on the market (1/10 to be exact ;-) and is a much faster and easier install.

Dropping the rack down also allows for more droop as it reduces the angle on the rack ends and tie rods, which means less chance of damaging steering components due to the tie rods locking out.

While it doesn't reduce it as much as our Steering Rack Relocation kit (~0.8 Degrees for Steering Rack Relocation, ~2.5 Degrees for Offset Rack Drop, down from ~7 Degrees from factory), it is cheaper and easier to install and should bring the bump steer down to an acceptable range, reducing tire wear and improving road feel.

YOU MUST GET A WHEEL ALIGNMENT AFTER FITTING!!
