AIS Amarok Slimline Lithium Battery Bracket / System (behind rear seats)
Thinking of getting some slimline Lithium hotness behind your rear seat? You're not a barbarian, of course you are, and AIS is here to make things easier than a two-piece jigsaw for you.
We have developed in-house a complete bolt-in system that slots neatly behind the rear seat in your Amarok, and provides a secure mounting point for your lithium battery that will allow for you to run everything from your fridge, lights and all your low voltage accessories, even your 12V murder-bot from Boston Dynamics (seriously, google them, it's terrifying).
The powder-coated battery bracket mounts to existing seat bolt holes, so there's no drilling required, and it's pre-drilled to suit a range of components we offer here at AIS or you can re-drill to suit your particular brand

NOTE: Please advise at time of order whether your Amarok has a smart alternator (if it comes with auto stop-start) or not, as an extra ignition wire will need to be joined upon installation (NOT SUPPLIED)
The Bracket is Pre-Drilled to suit the following components (All Available from AIS):

NOTE: Variations of the above batteries have been seen, you may need to drill out the bracket where required. The bracket can also be drilled to suit many other variations of slimline batteries & Chargers, please contact us for more information or confirm measurements.
When wired with the extra Anderson plugs the complete system and be easily removed within minutes.
The System can be purchased in the following options.
1) Drilled Bracket by its self - will bolt to the existing seat bolts behind the rear seat
2) Non-Drilled Bracket (Blank) by its self - for drilling your own holes to suit your own battery (or this one is best if you use the 150AH LBS Battery) Still has holes for mounting to existing seat bolts.
3) Complete Kit 1 110 AH With Inbuilt DC/DC- This kit is the Complete kit with all the components to complete the install. Kit contains the following parts fully assembled:

COMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
*What Model Amarok's does it fit? It fits all Generation one Amarok's both 4cyl and V6 from 2011 to 2023.
* Can I connect a Solar Panel to the system? Yes, there is a SOLAR input Anderson plug on the Passenger end of the bracket. You can plug in a SOLAR or Fixed Mount panel. This will input through the Redarc BC/DC, NOTE: If you are using a Solar blanket REMOVE the supplied regulator. we can supply panel options and DIY wiring (Not Included)
* Can I run an Inverter from this system? Yes you can run a small inverter up to 1000 watts, the limitation here is the continuous AMP rating of the battery, if you need a bigger inverter you would need to call and discuss options of custom built systems to suit your needs. a small inverter up to around 500 watts can be plugged directly into the disruption box, if you want to run a 1000 watt inverter from the distribution box I suggest you call and we can option up a larger cable to suit.
*Does My Amarok have a Smart Alternator? this question is commonly asked, the basic answer is ONLY Models that have Add Blue / Stop Start! All our systems have a Blue Ignition wire at the DC/DC charger and will need to be terminated to an ignition source if needed. (Wire NOT supplied) If you are unsure it will not hurt to connect the ignition wire regardless.
* How does this battery bolt down? Simply remove the two existing seat bolts behind the back seat towards the Passenger side of vehicle. a washer can be used under the bracket to space up slightly (allow for carpet) but will work without. I find it easier to use a large lever bar between the seat and the Battery to push back whilst the bolts are done up.
* Do I have to move my vehicle Jack? Yes this will need to be re-located to another area, often just placed behind the back seat on the drivers side (NOTE: Early models will need to remove the 4 x M6 Factory nuts and steel mount)
* Where do I run the supplied cables? Two cables are supplied with the DIY kit, one with the inline fuse and Yellow Anderson plug needs to be run to the Start battery and one run into the tub to supply power to the Distribution box (Power Outlets) These can be run through the vehicle in a way that suits you, however I personally Drill a hole next to the installed bracket just towards the middle seat belt (Cut Some of the carpet out) this comes out into a subframe underneath but can be fished out through a factory hole. Please call for more info on this.
* Can I have a System built to suit my specific needs with different components? YES, we can customise a system or come up with a solution and give you clear advice on options that are available.
* Can I get the LBS 150ah Battery with the 240 AMP Continuous Rating? Yes, this is commonly needed if you want to run a LARGER up to 2000w Inverter, However it is a CUSTOM BUILT SYSTEM! This system requires H/Duty Cabling and would be built to suit your needs, we would also need to discuss where you want the inverter and go over your intended use and current draw to make sure we build the correct solution for you!
